These images are a small collection, and a consequence of work I created
as a professional commercial photographer while in Chicago, Illinois many
years ago. Chicago is where I received my
training as a professional photographer. I know I am fortunate for the
professionals I worked for taught me well.
Even then, I preferred an 'absense' in my work which continues to exist to this
day. You will find that in most cases I tend to eliminate the unneeded.
The mood is there though ... as is the balance, the design, and the impulse
to find or create what is intriguing to me and bring it forth in the image.
Perhaps it is in the simplicity.
I feel there is an artistic value here, that, when properly framed, is
quite appealing and will look great on one's wall. Somewhat contemporary.
